Favorite Quote

“You can be yourself because there is nothing to left to prove.  The determining factor in our relationship with God is not our past or present record or performance.  It is Jesus’ past record that has been credited to my account as a gift.”

My Story

I grew up traveling.  My father was in the military and every few years we were on the move.  I have lived in Kentucky, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, Virginia, Texas, and Germany.  Moving was very much a way of life!  In 1992 my family moved to Florida and ever since it has been the place we call home.

In June of 1995, I entered into a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ.  Up until that point I heard of Jesus and would have said that I was a Christian.  However, I never knew him personally and by the way I lived my life one could never tell that I was His follower.

After my conversion I had a growing desire to serve vocationally in the local church.  So in January of 2000 I went to seminary, met my wife, and since had the privilege of serving on staff with a great church and with a ministry called Campus Outreach.  In 2003 the dream of planting a church began.  Now after seven years I am finally seeing it come to fruition through Vintage Grace.
