What We Value

The Glory of God

We believe the “chief end of man is to glorify God and enjoy Him forever. “ Therefore, this is our aim in everything we do (1 Corinthians 10:31).

The Authority and Exposition of the Bible

We believe in the authority of the Bible .  Therefore, to disbelieve or disobey the Bible is to disbelieve or disobey God (2 Tim. 3:16). We believe the Bible should  be explained in order to understand it’s meaning and appropriately apply it our lives.

Membership

We believe “membership” is extremely important.  It is our affirmation statement attesting that we identify ourselves as representatives of this local congregation and all that it entails.

Gospel Centered Teaching and Living

We believe that true transformation comes from understanding the Gospel and its implications. Therefore, it is our aim to consistently proclaim and grow in our understanding of it.

Discipleship

Christ has commissioned us to “make disciples”.  Therefore it is essential that every member be involved in the process at some capacity.

An Environment of Grace

Convinced of the absolute sovereignty of God, we understand that nothing good happens in our ministry that is not the result of His grace (His unmerited favor toward us). Consequently, our ministry together must be characterized by that same grace in our response to one another.

Prayer

We believe that prayer reveals a church's dependence upon God.  It is a rerminder that the work of building the church is Christ's and not ours.  Therefore, by His grace, we are comitted to praying that Jesus will build our congregation up as a body that reflects His splendor and majesty.

Church Planting and Revitalization

We believe the most strategic way to reach the world is to plant and revitalize local autonomous churches.  Therefore, it is our aim to raise up and assist churches and church planters in this venture.
