Thank you for inquiring about VGC. We know that visiting a new church can be intimidating and arduous, so we want to try alleviate that as much as possible.
Below are some common questions that visitors have asked prior to attending our Sunday morning gathering :
1) What should I expect?
- A gracious and loving people who desire to reflect the character of God
- Being that we are a church plant, a small group gathering of 20-30 people
- The singing, preaching, and praying of God's Word
- Communion offered to those who are believers in Christ
- Refreshments
2) What should I wear?
Just dress comfortably.
3) What should I bring?
Yourself, a Bible, and something to write with.
4) Do you have child care?
Yes. We have a nursery for 0-2 yrs and children's church for 3-9 yrs.
5) Are you affiliated with a denomination?
Yes. We are affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention.
6) Do you offer anything during the week?
Yes. We have Men's and Women's community groups that meet twice a month on Wednesday evenings.
